Mercedes Paint Finish

Hi,

I’ve a 2019 Mercedes c class. I polished it recently, used poorboys products, black hole polish and the wax. The bonnet looks pretty crap, orange peel sort of finish.

Looking into it this seems to be an issue with mercs, I don’t really want to eat into the clear coat, is there anything that can improve it without abrasion?

Understand it’s hard to say without seeing it.

The only way to remove orange peel is to flat and polish....and by that I mean a machine polish

It's a common issue with modern paint as they are applied by machine to a certain volume and the finishing shops don't see it as a defect.

Unfortunately as said, mechanical removal of clear coat is usually the only way to fix it.
