Looking for a combined shampoo and wax for a black car, doesnt have to be show quality, but halfway decent.

Whats good ?

I tried their quick wax and it left all sorts of watermarking I gave up using it tbh

GTechniq do one too, I suppose you just have to test them out really.

I use Autoglym Bodywork Shampoo Conditioner which works very well.

I also use it on the wheels and find that I don't need to use wheel cleaner.

I just use literally anything, using a good quality drying towel to finish off.

That’s all I use. Nothing else needed, I try to let rain do the rinse off, but it’s been very dry lately!

I used to be quite fussy with car washing and have tried all sorts over the years but the best I've found is Simoniz Car shampoo and Wax. Yellow liquid with a black and gold label.

I have been using Chemical Guys wash and wax for 10+ years now; you really don't need to use much (so it lasts for ages) and it is a really good car shampoo. It does also seem to confer some wax-like protection of the paint (some beading and shine) too.

As long as you don't expect the same outcome as applying a specific wax, I think it's great!
