I’ve never been happy with the exterior glass after washing so was after recommendations for products and cloths.

What aren't you happy about with it?

What process do you use currently?

Personally I find clay the glass to get rid of any contaminents and then coat with something like Rain X or Diamond Vision. Then after every wash it's just a case of dry the car and a quick blast round with a glass cleaner on a microfibre to take off any water marks.

I use diluted rinseless wash which seems to work fine, but find the key to getting it streak free is a waffle weave cloth.

I also apply a ceramic coating (303 Graphene Nano spray) to the glass a couple of times a year when I do the car, which makes it easy to clean.

I just use an Autoglym spray with a net-covered sponge. I never rinse, because I use it before I drive away, so I just use the screen washers after I move off.

Nothing. Maybe a rinse off after a wash. Never really had a side window issue, too rainy here! Had some salt-streaks from road spray, just use Autoglym Fast Glass.
In summary, I use
Autoglym car shampoo and conditioner for bodywork and also for wheels
Autoglym Fast Glass for all glass and mirrors IF NEEDED
. And some Tar and Insect remover in the summer when the front gets affected.
That’s all I ever use.

Garage Therapy glass cleaner is very good, I have their glass cloth too but rarely use it tbh.

I'm currently using Valet Pro glass cleaner and find it very good. When washing the car it beads nicely. It's easy to use too but as pointed out above, a waffle weave towel is best for glass.

On a side note and I haven't tried this yet myself but recently a poster here on PH said he uses the wash mitt he washes the car with to clean the inside of the windscreen. Obviously well rung out but gets no streaking.

That is always an issue with me, the inside of the screen. Anymore details on best procedure for inside of windscreen, using a mitt?

I don't top be honest, it's one place I avoid cleaning as I cannot ever get it right. I've tried many techniques I've seen on youtube etc and still end up with poor results. At the weekend if I have time I'll give the wash mitt technique a go and report back

I do this, I often use fairy liquid in a washing bowl, water it down, add the mitt then rinse it out thoroughly.

Wash the inside of the screen and then dry with a drying towel. Doesn't streak and doesn't need any glass cleaner spraying on to then smear again.

I’ll try that. I’ve yet to find any interior glass cleaner or wipes that don’t smear.
