My car T Roc r line was rear ended last week, which caused us to hit the car in front.
Damage is the back bumper is well dented and cracked and the boot won't open (I haven't tried it ) , the front wing has been dislodged and doesn't meet with the front panel as it should ,
The under cover for the rear bumper is badly cracked and number plate as well .
What is worrying me is there is a bar under the rear bumper that you can see through the gap in the rear cover which is quite badly bent.
Is this bar the crash bar and if dented is the car written off?
Thanks for replies

Plastic bumpers these days are purely cosmetic and the metal crash bar underneath is supposed to absorb most of the energy.
I’m not sure of the design on the T roc but most are designed to be bolt on for changing.
If the boot is stuck it sounds as if it’s transferred through the body too so hard to say if it will be written off.

As above, what you can see doesn't really matter, it's what you can't see that is the issue, if the crash bar has bent the chassis or boot floor then you might be in for a write off.
