Is anything better than kurust?
Discussion
Got a cheap old runner which is completely solid underneath but is just starting to show rust marks. Nothing bad, just surface dryness.
I want to treat the underside then seal it and will probly go with old fashioned brush on kurust but before i do, is there anything better for this job in the same price range?
I just want to kill any surface marks on the underside before stoneguarding, etc.

I use Vactan, seems to be the same stuff just substantially cheaper.
Seconded, vactan has worked well on my old T25.I would be wary of sealing the underneath now rust is already evident. You might just seal in a problem area with a bit of moisture, making the problem worse and the repair more difficult.
Buzzweld's Rust Control Primer (RCP) is superb. I used it on a Ford Ranger chassis two years ago and it's still absolutely unmarked.
It's now been replaced with Rust Encapsulation Primer which I've yet to try.
Used to use Hammerite which was brilliant until it came over all Health & Safety and it now resembles thick gloss paint.

In my experience avoid any hammerite products these days like the plague.
Some good products here.

These products can be used on a wet chassis as they are supposed to disperse the water if you can believe that fully.
I undersealed a cheap car over winter using a spray can version of Hammerite underseal. I wouldn't recommend this method as the spray nozzles clogged instantly and I went through many cans.

Not as good as the old stuff but still pretty decent.
