Advice on car dryers
Discussion
I have the BigBoi BlowR Mini and it's really good. I don't really use it to fully dry the car, it's more useful for getting water out of gaps. Prefer to towel dry large panels.
I do use it to entirely dry the bike though which makes sense, especially with how much water the radiator can hold.

I have the Blo-Air GT (bigger brother of the RS)
It’s been a very worthwhile purchase, 8m power cable and several metres of flexible hose for getting right around the car. Speed control is easy to adjust and it warms the air too. It performs especially well when you have a coating or wax applied to the vehicle and I can chase the water off really effectively.
I don’t personally find it much quicker to dry the car completely, if anything it shows you just how much water remains in places you don’t always notice under normal drying but it does give a great no touch finish. You could whip around the car in about 5 mins and achieve 80% drying and finish off with a drying towel, should you prefer.
A word of caution though, for any air dryer. Please consider hearing protection. The units themselves are jut like a noisy vacuum but as air passes through a nozzle and over the gaps and crevices of a car body you’ll create some serious noise and I wouldn’t want to be without my squidgy ear plugs.

Same here, although it's the Blo Air S that I have, prefer to towel-dry the panels and then use the blower to get the water out of the gaps behind trim. It is quite noisy.
Thank you, everyone for getting back and advising me.
Muska the Blo Air GT looks great! It’s currently at £240 it’s a little out of my budget, I can just about justify £150 for the Blo Air RS to the missus ha ha.
I most certainly will do I have noticed the sound generated even on YouTube videos.
It sounds like most of you still use drying towels for the most part of drying the car, so do you regret buying the air dryer or was it a worthy purchase?
I have seen the dog grooming ones, but like you say the amount they have gone up in price. I feel I would be as well buying a specialised care dryer

For a budget alternative then Screwfix have a Titan vacuum cleaner which has a blow function. Obviously not heated, but produces a good blast and works well for £40.

Don't be tempted to use it as a vac thinking you'll clean it and then use it to "Blow". You'll end up spraying your car with fine dust. But a keeping one as a dedicated blower works well as a car blaster and occassional use leaf blower etc.

Cheers I will take a look at that. Shame it couldn't be used as a multi purpose product for the car https://www.screwfix.com/p/titan-ttb774vac-1300w-1...

I bought a Titan cleaner for garage, fire and garden duties and have been looking at car driers - have one sitting there already.
We have an automatically opening/closing bathroom vent to clean and sure a good blow would sort that too.
