Any recommendations for a lightweight electric blower to air dry a car?

Dog blowers from Amazon seem to be the common popular choice at the moment. Mostly the same as the dedicated car ones but less money and often come with the heater element which can help.

Thanks I hadn’t thought about dog blowers-I’ve ordered a 2800w one which I presume should be adequate if it will dry an Afghan hound…

Using the right nozzle is key, with the air being forced out of a tighter nozzle it will increase the air speed and make it more effective.

I've got one of these but did already have batteries.
Good bit of kit, just tell the missus it's for the leaves on the garden.

Just bought the same for the same usage… was reduced to £89.99 for BF. Had two batteries already and an adaptor for Dewalt batteries (have a lot of those..).

Thanks I did look at this but the price with a battery and charger was double the dog vac.

Is the £89.99 the blower body only?

Bare tool isn’t too bad but the cost is in the batteries.

I use an Ego leaf blower. Unless they're quite powerful you don't really make much progress with them.

In addition, unless the car has a wax/sealant or better a ceramic coating you're still left with a fair bit to do with a drying towel.

This said, with the leaf blower and a ceramic coating I find there's almost no need for another step, it's really very satisfying watching the water beads fly off the paint.

Any recommendations for an easy to apply ceramic that's not too fussy on cure time etc?

Infinity Wax do one of the better ceramics that doesn't have a long list of requirements for it to work.

I like the gtechniq range but I understand CarPro UK3.0 is probably the best single layer coating.
