Can anyone tell me how well it would fair if I coated the entire underbody of my car with seam sealer?

Why would you want to do that and not use an underbody protection paint and just the seam sealer around the panel joints?

Well I want something that I can brush on thick and guard against stone chips etc and something that doesn't fall off...

Thanks, sounds good but it's quite expensive, can you suggest an alternative?

Look at raptor liner, it can be sprayed on easily but you could roller or paint it on.

I am doing the bottom of my daughters horse lorry and it is a really tough finish.

Do Jotun do a spray on like Raptor?

I found this and it's a decent price and water based so more user friendly, what do you guys think?

Looks to be very anti slip focused.

I stick by the raptor recommendation. I suspect anything cheap will not work as well.
