Ryobi One+ power washer £68 delivered
Discussion
For those with the One+ ecosystem. The Power Washer is reduced to £68 including delivery.
Handy in these hosepipe ban times. Obviously not as good as a decent pressure washer (please don't compare the two)...but it's better than a watering can.

Most of the common tool brands, even Lidl and Aldi have a one battery fits all [tools] system. So you buy the tool and use your existing battery(s) to power them.
Of course, once you've settled on a preferred brand you're unwillingly or willingly perhaps tied to them. But I like Ryobi stuff so don't mind. It's much easier than managing loads of different batteries and chargers.

If you're not wedded to the Ryobi ecosystem and/or don't have a battery, I just got one of these in the post today:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B09YRLG17T/ref...
It comes with a 4Ah battery and, on paper anyway, it's twice as powerful as the Ryobi, at 45 bar.
Can't give it a full review, as I haven't washed the car with it yet. However, preliminary observations, following a quick test drive in the bathroom, are as follows:
1. The jet nozzle, at it's highest setting, seemed quite powerful. At the very least I wouldn't want to be standing in the way of it, and the fan nozzle was reasonably powerful too. Both, along with the 6 in 1 nozzle seem more than adequate to clean a car. I didn't get to try the foam bottle though.
2. As well as a long hose to draw water from a bucket/barrel/reservoir, it comes with a pop bottle adapter. I assume it's designed for 2 litre bottles, but attached happily to a 3 litre lemonade bottle, courtesy of Iceland.
So, initial impression from the now soaked bathroom, is that I'm reasonably impressed. It fits together quite solidly and so, if it doesn't fall apart after a few uses, I'll be happy I bought it.
Safety tip: Don't be tempted to use it as a high power water pistol, as at close range it'll have your eye out.

That does look a better deal.
I tried my usual mains powered Kranzle washer with a bucket yesterday, and it works perfectly. A 3 gallon bucket lasted exactly 1 minute. Doesn't sound much, but if you keep another full bucket ready to decant into the main bucket you can do a decent wash.
Not sure how much I'll actually use the Ryobi now!

I guess time will tell if it's a good deal. Hopefully it's a robust as it appears. I think I've got a couple of 5 gallon buckets in the garage, so will probably use them when I get round to trying it properly.
If you don't end up using the Ryobi you'll probably be able to get your money back selling it once the sale/offer ends.

I have a Worx Hydroshot Brushless with 2 batteries that I'm using with the current hosepipe ban in our area. It works I would say as well as a cheap £40 mains pressure washer.I tried my usual mains powered Kranzle washer with a bucket yesterday, and it works perfectly. I've now realised that I could buy/knock up a water pick up hose with filter and run it in a similar manner to the Worx with the mains pressure washer (I use a 25litre water container). But I've come to like using the Worx as there's no mains cable - simply pick up the Worx and water container and clean the cars wherever they are parked, instead of the faff of jiggling cars around.

Gutted, that was a good deal at £68. Price is now back up to £144. Even on Amazon it is still £116 which is pretty high. Wonder why it reduced so low?Handy in these hosepipe ban times. They seem to do a lot of limited time half price offers. They're doing one on a cordless impact wrench at the moment for £63.99 (without battery). The offers usually last about a week.Tested the Amazon one I posted about earlier and it worked great to snow foam and rinse the car. It was good drawing water from both a 20 litre bucket, as well as attaching a 3 litre drinks bottle, so am pleased with it so far.
