I have gone through 3 boxes of Q-tips to remove dust and grease from all the cracks and holes in the interior. And still. Used pure alcohol to clean the sunblinds, various glass cleaners, toothbrushs.

Any tips from the detailing pros here what else I could try?

I’ve seen the pros spray a fair amount of all purpose cleaner (apc) over everything and agitate with a soft brush before wiping down with a microfibre.

It makes me nervous but seems a pretty accepted practice.

As above really, if you don’t go mad with the Apc you will be fine.
Use a small paint brush if you have one and regularly wipe it with the microfibre.

compressed air did wonders for getting out all the dirt I couldn't reach... pledge brings up the wood well...

I've used all sorts over the years, compressed air, APC, brushes of all shapes and sizes, a Tornador.

Best I've used is the steam cleaner and a paintbrush. Get a decent steam cleaner with a good continuous steam generation and it will get the interior really clean. Even the windscreen is easy.

YouTube detailers I watch seem to lather the whole interior. They don't seem to be worried about getting water in the switches for example.

Finish off with compressed air.

Just had a go at the wood with microfibre cloth and Sonax plastic polish - works great.
