Being a man with mor money than taste I want to make my McLaren into a tribute to the new Cupra Formentor by adding a set of bronze / copper wheels to it.

There’s a powder coating place near me that it makes sense to use but they need a colour code. Does anyone know of the code for any nice looking wheels, or a way to find one out?

This sort of thing is what I’m imagining.

Porsche do a wheel colour option "satin Aurum" more of a gold than a bronze but worth a look.

I got that made on my white giulia.

The workshop used Chrysler JUS paint called "Blazing Saddle", in a satin finish. it's great! I'd called it medium bronze.

I then looked how cars painted with it were looking, and the answer is : ugly as sin! but for wheels, perfect!

I had these Vossen Wheels fitted to my RCF they are a satin finish, just recently I asked my local Express Paints in Portsmouth to make me some matching paint to coat the balance weights so they blend in.
If this is the sort of colour you like I can get a code number from them.

If you let the powder coat company choose a shade that is readily available cost for any future repairs will be far easier and quicker than choosing a rare shade mix

Hi Brima,

Did you manage to get the paint code for your Vossen Bronze wheels ?
I'm trying to source it to respray mine, I'd really appreciate it if you can send it to me 👍

Regards

Mike
