Very commonCan this really happen?
Thanks
I'd bet most large main dealers have several cars a year that need a touchup on PDI

I used to walk past a body shop on my way to the station. Practically every morning there was a low loader with a car or two from the nearby Hyundai dealership. These cars hadn't even been on the forecourt, they still had the plastic protection strips from the factory.
Oh wow, maybe this is what could have happened to my car. There isn’t any dents on my car but can just see these distortions in the reflection which look like creases but are not.Thank you both for your replies

Yes, I own a bodyshop and it happens all the time. Thanks
It may not be the case though. Modern factory finish is very "peely" on most cars nowadays, so not many new cars have a true "like glass" finish. That coupled with some of the dramatic lines a lot of new cars have can give off that kind of impression.
