Hi,

I got the left running board (nearside wing), rollover bar & bonnet resprayed in the past couple of days and I have ben left with a few problems.

What the main problem is that a some of the original paint around where they have sprayed is now rough to touch and has dulled down in colour. On the front coweling and the rollover bar there is definite lines where they masked up and this effect has happened above. The offside running board has this freckling in various places, and a ring of something but that looks more like the paint has been chipped off.

The water jet nozzles in the bonnet are completely clogged.

The inside of the roll-over bar isn't sprayed, although it appears to be primed (simple oversight I'm guessing).

My side exit exhaust is now sprayed blue streaks

Couple of questions, this freckling how do I get rid of it? I tried a little t-cut in a small area and all it did was make it much whiter and more noticable, I've also tried P21 from thepolishingcompany but that simply buffed the shiny bits rather than remove the dullness.

How can I get rid of the paint off my exhaust silencer and pipe?

I'm taking the car back to the sprayers on Tuesday anyway with regard to getting some touch up paint for the bits on the back and get my invoice, so will mention all this then but would like some ideas on what he is saying in case they try to fob me off... (which I don't think they will do).

I suspect you are paying them good money so just tell them you are not happy and want the whole lot rectified.
Write a list of all the items you want fixed. It may be that you will talk to the boss who may be unaware of the standard some of the work is leaving his business.
Good luck.
