bilsteins vs protech shocks for elise?
Discussion
Road use or track?
For road use, I'd stick with the Bilsteins... Lotus spent a lot of time working out the best ride/handling compromise and they have a bit of a reutation for knowing what they're doing, in that department!
I'd only go for the Protechs, personally, if you were planning to do a lot of track days and, either, running stiffer than normal springs and/or you like the idea of playing around with settings yourself to learn how they influence the car's handling.
You'd probably get a lot more detailed response in the Elise forum, though, or even better on the SELOC technical forums.
