Hi, I have some Bridgestone Turanza ER30 fitted to my car and I noticed that 3 of the 4 have a ridge showing right next to the rim, see arrow in pic.

I suspect the fourth tire is correct as it looks like this photo and this ridge must be to do with how the tyre is fitted.

Question is, have I got a problem here and can it be sorted?

Without seeing it it sounds like a protector strip to save the alloys getting kerb damage. S0-2 had them as well and very useful they were.

Funny that 3 have and one does not. Have a look at the spec writing on the tyre wall and see if they are exactly the same.

Very much doubt its incorrect fitting or manufacturing fault.

Thanks tricky, that does sound plausible I'll check again to see if they are the same or not.

Hello everyone

Was considering putting toyo r888's on a 350bhp rx7, anyone got them on a car, how do they do in general day to day use?

Cheers
Tobias

I had a look this morning and that fourth tyre is odd as does not have a 92W suffix on the size/rating code, where the other three do... duh silly me.

cheers,
Steve.

Hi Tobias, for a better response you might want to start a new thread with the type of tyre and car in it. HTH.
