Power Steering Rack Rebuilders

Can anyone recommend ay 'old school' type rack rebuilders, ideally in the south east.

I'm looking for the type of place with 500 different racks stacked to the ceiling and not just for recent motors.

My de Tomaso PS rack is now no longer obtainable from ZF and is unique to my car and the Maserati Quattroporte 3. I wish to convert my car from LHD to RHD. The Quattroporte's were never made in RHD so that avenue is exhausted. de Tomaso Longchamp's in RHD are rather rare also.

I need someone that can possibly make up or modify my existing rack - for a price.

Any thoughts or possible contacts.

Titat have quoted me £2,000 for a new custom unit - I think not. I work for a living!

Speak to Ben Aston Motorsport Ltd (AML) in Warminster, they can most probably help you out, they do quite a few custom jobs & rebuilds for race & rally cars.
