Do my tyres need replacing
Discussion
Your tyres are worn evenly and not quite down to the tread wear indicator bars (which indicate 1.6mm depth), so they are legal to drive on. They should be more than this deep across the central 3/4 of the width of the tyre. And it looks like yours are OK in this respect.
However you're not far off the minimum depth and the tyres won't displace water on a wet road as well as a fresh set, so you might consider that the time is right to change them. Depending on your driving style, you probably only have 1000-3000 miles left before they are worn to the legal limit.

The wear bars are generally at 2mm, looks like you have nearly 3mm thousands of miles of legal use in those.
1.6mm to be accurate. Sebring440 said:

I would certainly change them before any wet/winter weather sets in.
Yes, very important at this time of year.Edited by Pica-Pica on Sunday 6th April 15:10
