Which tyres - hot and wet
Discussion
Looking for some advice please as I know little about tyres.
I am emigrating to a Caribbean country which is 30-32 degrees every day of the year, however in the rainy season it has have large down pours and wet roads.
I am exporting an L405 5.0 S/C and want to know the best tyres to put on her,.
I'm planning to change the 22inch rims to 20 inch rims as some of the roads aren't the best.
Having Googled, someone is recommending Cooper AT3 4S - does this sound like a good choice?
Clearly cold / ice / snow performance is irrelevent, but I do need high performance in the heat and wet.
Many thanks

If cold weather performance is irrelevant why choose a tyre that is a winter tyre?Clearly cold / ice / snow performance is irrelevent, but I do need high performance in the heat and wet.
If high performance is key why choose a mid-range tyre?
If wet weather performance is key why choose a tyre that is C/D rated for wet weather grip?
In other words whoever recommended those didn't listen to the question, they are clearly not a good choice.
Lets start with what your tyre size is & take it from there.

Hot and wet is generally fine, but what about mud to go along with the rain? If so a set of All-Terrain tyres may be the solution.I am emigrating to a Caribbean country which is 30-32 degrees every day of the year, however in the rainy season it has have large down pours and wet roads.

Thanks for the responses, there are a number of unmade roads on the Island hence looking at AT
Tyre size as far as I tell will be 255/55R20 (downsizing from 22 inch rims)
Will the 20" rims fit around the brakes? I know the SC cars had big wheels, partly to avoid the callipers.Tyre size as far as I tell will be 255/55R20 (downsizing from 22 inch rims)
