Brake issue Fiat Panda 2011 1242cc

The brake pedal sometimes will not return when I press it, maybe one time in three. People think I am break checking them. The car seems fine apart from this problem I have notice last night and today. I cannot get it into my garage until Thursday next week to find out the issue. Any opinions on the most likely causes (or even unlikely ones) will be greatly received. Cheers

Have a look at the clutch & brake reservoir. Is there any fluid in it ?

I'm guessing RHD. Check the linkage in the passenger side footwell.
Pop the black plastic cover off and make sure there's nothing stuck in there.

On many Fiat's there was a problem with the seals in the brake master cylinder reversing themselves - worth getting it checked out.
