Which brake discs & pads?

I'm looking for some new brake discs & pads for a 2012 BMW 320d. I've put the spec in & searched on euros but there are a couple coming up, how do I know which one is the right fitment for my vehicle?
Normally you put in a reg and it will show you a range of choices for that car.Go with Oem quality or something like Brembo.
Go to realoem.com, enter your VIN and it will give you the BMW part numbers. You can then find which parts are compatible with those. But most of the big vendors like Euro Car Parts will already know what discs and pads are suitable if you enter your reg.
For example, there will only be one front and rear diameter for discs, but various brands. Some pads will have more "bite" but will also wear faster or generate more brake dust.
I'd be happy with any of Pagid, Textar, Ate or Brembo.

Yes I did enter my reg on euros but for instance there are two rear Brembo discs I'm looking at that are the same but one is £43.49 product code 10411105A & the other is £61.99 product code 10411183A, what are the differences between them?For example, there will only be one front and rear diameter for discs, but various brands. On the ECP site you can click on the link titled something like “fitment detail” or “further detail”. This will give you things like the disc diameter. I suspect the two options they list will have some different dimensions, you need to check these against the ones cited to the car and purchase the ones with the same dimensions.Scrump said:

I have been ordering a lot of stuff from design 911 and they often seem to have the identical products at different prices- I wonder if it is a stocking price change or something to do with online selling or marketing etc, in the way they list….maybe some people just click the more expensive ones and they make more profit where as others buy on price?

Cross reference the part numbers on Brembo website , in my experience the 2 varieties of disc from Brembo are usually because one disc will be "uncoated" and the more expensive ones are "coated" with an additional layer that helps stop the discs rusting. It usually says on the Euro car parts or AutoDoc site in the additional information.
