I currently keep my winter tyres on the car all year round. They'll getting low on tread and I was thinking about replacing with all-season tyres.

I live on a hill and we do get snow. I want an all-season tyre that has very good performance in snow.

Any recommendations?

I can only comment on my own experience but last winter I fitted a set of Michelin Cross Climate SUVs for a trip across Europe. Driving included heavy rain as well as snow, trips up and down mountains in snow, as well as heavy (2 foot deep) snow on the flat. The tyres performed flawlessly in all conditions, and have also been great in the summer.

I also use Michelin Cross Climates on our Forester and Panda 4x4 Cross.

Fit and forget, IMO.
