I have a spare set of front brake pads (pagid) that we had spare for our old CRV. That CRV has gone to the scrapyard in the sky a while back.

So, is there anyway to find out what other cars these pads may fit (I would also like to check our newer model CRV too in case by sheer luck they fit that as well). I can then eBay them saying which cars they fit (or if I know someone with a suitable car, may give to them if friend/family).

Also, these pads have been in sitting in my shed for a few years (3 or so at a guess), I assume they don’t deteriorate just sat in the box all that time?

They should have a part number on the box, Google it and see what adverts for the parts show up and what they say it will fit.

Thanks.
Bit of a result, they fit 2 cars.
Mk3 CRV
Mk4 CRV

We had a Mk3, now have a Mk4 biggrin

I assume there's no "best before" so given their are 3/4 years old still be OK? They look OK, maybe a little bit of surface rust on pad material etc..

Just give em a quick rub on sandpaper/aluminium oxide paper and they are good to go
