Another cracking tyre thread?

Some of the cheapest, nastiest tyres money can buy. Hardly surprising they deteriorating prematurely. Treat yourself to a set of midrange Hankooks or similar.
I know that when I aquired the car they were a really odd brand, with the tread on them I thought I would run them a little longer...they feel ok in the wet, but is the cracking a concern?Yeah they are superficial looking at them, just wanted some advice. Ha, they are a crap brand having just googled them "Saferich".
I have been rather happy with them to be honest though and I am a bit of a tyre snob.
I will run them a little longer now the weather seems to be improving, and hopefully get up to October when I will stick my winter 16's on, but will keep my eye on them.

Hairline cracks like that are fine, get your use out of them.
Even premium tyres will do that, I've got Goodyear on the front of our site runabout Fiesta ST and they've not got any worse over 3 years..
Cool, I will get my use out of these, tbh reading about under inflation could be the cause of this, manufacturer recommend 39/40psi on these for the 9-3 - so imagine over time previous owners don't check and run them low.Even premium tyres will do that, I've got Goodyear on the front of our site runabout Fiesta ST and they've not got any worse over 3 years..

Yes, to avoid this I only ever drive in the dark!
The only tyres I’ve had do this are Michelin. Goodyear Eagle F1 that are a few years old still look new. BF Goodrich which are close to their age limit haven’t done this and the Pirellis only last 5 minutes so it’s never been an issue with them.
