Has anyone had any experience of lovetyres.com?

Seem to be considerably cheaper than the likes of blackcircles and event tyres.

Quote I've had is £120 less than the next cheapest for a set of 4 goodyear eagle F1 assym 2's.

Cheers

No experience of lovetyres.com but I can suggest taking a look at CamSkill.co.uk

Blackcircles ain't nearly as cheap as they once were.

As well as the ones mentioned take a look at allnewtyres and EARS. Prices fluctuate quite a lot.

I know the company lovetyres well, they offer a similar service to cam in that if it says next day, you'll get them next day.

Sometimes cheaper than cam too, they vary depending on brand and stock.

Used them a couple of years ago for some winters for my 540.

No complaints at all from me.

I'll need some soon and they're coming in at around £50 less per tyre for the Pirellis I want.

Used them via their association with M3Cutters and got a great deal on tyres for the M3.

Great service and would definitely use again/recommend thumbup

They refunded me my money after a bit of a mix-up

Also try tyregiant, they were the cheapest for me when buying 2 Asymmetric 2's recently.

I've bought a couple of the Eagle F1's from there last week. They arrived the next day, and had a manufactured date on them of about 3 weeks ago so are new stock. Worked out about £30 less than Camskill.

Is it just me or are the likes of Blackcircles, Mytyres and Event no longer anything like as cheap as they used to be? (As remarked on by a poster above). I've never found Camskill competetive - either that or they can't supply.

Event used to be great, but these days are way off, which is a shame.

Pneus online and Openeo seem to have taken up the cheapest supplier mantle.

One other quick question, how much is reasonable to pay for tyres to be fitted?

Conscious that lovetyres only delivers, surely not going to cost me the difference to get them fitted by a local garage?

About £10 a wheel for 16s, or £15 is about the going price if they're big.

It's not an unusual business strategy, start cheap to steal mindshare then creep up prices to start to become profitable on your turn over. Blackcircles have been around 10+ years and have only just stopped losing money, there's dick all money in tyres online. Luckily there's always new guys like lovetyres trying to grow, or guys stuck in their own happy place like camskill to keep the prices low smile

Black circles prices have shot up over the past few years (since they started TV advertising and offering Tesco Clubcard points), but Event Tyres have consistently been the cheapest place I've found for rears for my 996.

Just thought I would add to this thread to keep it going. In the past, I have always used Camskill for tyres but noticed their prices going up and down like a yo-yo recently. Came across lovetyres and they were considerably cheaper so just placed an order. I know Camskill price match, but as a customer, its nice to be offered the best price first time.
