GT6 Rear seat question

Many years ago I had various Triumphs in the TSSC range, and whilst clearing the garage I came across the rear (yes rear) seat I had for my old Mk3 GT6. I know this was a rare option, and relatively un-usable. However, I have one to get rid of and they used to be sought after as a special item.

So the question is, can anyone indicate what sort of price they can currently fetch (not in perfect condition), and who are the parts dealers on the Triumph scene who may be worth contact to ensure it goes ot an appreciative owner?

Can't help on value but I'd say either chuck it on eBay or place an ad in one of the Triumph club magazines/web sites (http://club.triumph.org.uk/ or http://www.tssc.org.uk)

I think they are more of a look than practical. Having squeezed people in the back you need all of the room you can get and a seat adds to space take up. Nothing to do with your post

I paid about £180 for one that was perfect. In fact too good for what I want as I am planning on recovering it.

I suggest sticking it on Ebay - you would be surprised what people will pay. Don't whatever you do throw it out.

Hi Paul, just noticed your post.

Yes mine has not gone on e-bay yet, but unlike the other two it is black, and includes both the back and and the base.
If interested I can send the photos.

Also I note you are close by in Cambridgeshire - so offer a good price and I might be able to deliver as it would be a good run out if it is sunny at the weekend.

good news - it is sold and now residing in the back of a beautiful Mk1 GT6...another item saved...and some cash towards work on my British sports car beginning with the letter T - a win-win situation.
