No, totally different PCD.

If you're after some cheap wheels that will bolt up to spitty hubs then you should be looking at the small MG Rover range, MGF etc. Check the offset is correct though, otherwise you'll ruin the handling.

Stag alloys won't fit as noted but Dolly Sprint ones do - though you need longer studs and spacers. Also as later Sprints came with 7/16 rather than 3/8 nuts also worth switching to 7/16 studs at the same time.

The PCD is the same, but the offset is wrong. Spacers will cure the fact that they hit the brake callipers but they will still be all wrong.

They're 13" as well.

IMHO the best wheel to put on a Small chassis triumph is the 5.5J Dunlop steel as fitted to Formula Fords, though I guess they're getting hard to find now.

Was wanting something different to the FF type wheels and thought the larger diameter wheels would help the gearing.........Martin

Its a lot of work just getting the Stag Alloy's to fit a Sprint.
And no they are not Photoshop.

Try Maestro, Montego, or MGF. They all have 4" PCD and the right offset. (Beware any 100mm PCD wheels you come across. There are a few sets around. As an alternative there are some good "minilite" lookalikes available at reasonable cost. It's also worth upgrading those puny Spitfire wheel studs to Group 4 Escort ones with new wheel nuts. When you compare the relative sizes, you won't believe they fit, but they do and they don't bend or break like the originals.

Spitfire/TR7/Maestro/Montego/MGF/S1 Elise/Marina/Herald/Dolomite were actually 4x3.75" PCD.

Dave, you're absolutely right, and I meant beware of 95mm PCD wheels too.............
