Better heater for TR4A?
Discussion
Hello, me again!
I'm putting insulation against the bulkhead and tunnel to prevent heat soaking through from the engine bay in hot weather.
However, the heater in these cars is renowned for being useless.
Can anyone recommend an alternative heater/fan combination that will toast me with the hood down on sunny days in winter?
Thanks

What's wrong with the standard heater - not enough heat or not enough blow?
If it's not enough heat you could probably get it re-cored with a modern matrix - should help and cost a lot less than £325! Won't really help if it's a lack of blow though.

Thanks for suggestion J17 (with my wallet in mind) but No heat and no blow.
I don't really want to risk getting it all back together after 'restoring' the heater/matrix only to find that it still isn't up to the job... and as Yertis says, now's the only chance to get a 100% fix before it gets buried again for good as I won't be getting it out again in my lifetime!
Thanks again for advice.
