triumph 1500 question.
Discussion
Hi all,
It would appear I started a thread in the wrong (MG) area t'other day.
http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...
I'm looking for some advice on doing what I can with a 1500 Midget to give it a bit more fizz and torque for use on classic road rallies (Europe mainly), so anything done really needs to be in keeping or period modification. We are not talking FIA here, but don't want to go down the K series swap etc.
I know the 1500's don't have the best reputation for 'tune-ability', just looking for what can be done?
Surely there is a way to make them breath and push a bit more torque out without going over the top?
Maybe a suggestion of good research material or a builder that knows their stuff.
thanks in advance.
