Can any body check my calculations, I have taken the cylinder head off and measured 33cc in the head, allowing for 4.48cc in the gasket, 2.930 bores and a stroke of 2.992 (for a 1300) I have a static compression ratio of 9.7 : 1
I have a 2R camshaft which is 35-75 75-35. If my maths is correct that gives me a dynamic compression ratio of 7:1.
This seems very low if I am not mistaken I need to have my head skimmed down to 30cc which would give me a dynamic compression of 7.5 : 1.
Will that be enough or do I need to take off more?
I will be running super unleaded.
