spitfire 4 mk1 valuation
Discussion
Hi, I have a spitfire 4 mk1 1963 pre reg, and was wondering what its worth if I do decide to sell it. Firstly the engine and box are missing, never had the correct one in the first place. Body is solid, floors are soild, but obviously would require restoration. Its been in my garage for 10 years.
Any ideas?
cheers.

Hi Carl,
I have a Feb 63 Spit 4 Mk1 and can say that without the engine, you're looking at £400-£1000 dependent on condition and originality.
I paid £1000 for mine. It was complete, came with all of it's history and enough spares to fill the cab to the brim. Although generally solid, it did need floors and sills, else it was just a matter of scraping and painting.
I am still looking for a couple of small parts if you have and would be willing to separate them. I need the door latches on the inside to the lock. At the moment, I can't lock mine from inside and as you'll probably know, the passenger doors have no key to lock them, so the only way they can be locked is from these small latches.
