If they've all stopped you should only need to look in two places, and one of those is far more likely than the other. So start by looking down in the passenger footwell, behind the carpet against the bulkhead, where you should find a little dustbin shaped thing about an inch and half across. This is the indicator relay and one of the two connectors has probably pulled off. If so push it back on. If they are both pushed on nice and tight then possibly the relay has gone pop – test the circuit by shorting across the two connectors and seeing if the indicators come on and stay on (whichever side you have flipped the stalk to). If so replace the relay, they cost very little. If the indicators still don't come on when the connectors are shorted, then check out the wiring around the back of the indicator stalk, and ultimately the indicator stalk itself, although failure of these is very rare even though they're all getting on for a million years old. My money is on the relay though, one way or the other.
