Looks a good'un. The main trouble with the 1850 is in getting the head off, the head is to all intents and purposes identical to the TR7 one and the head studs are angled on one side, which makes it a pig of a job to do.
On the plus side the 1850 has more power and better economy than the 1500. TR7 tuning bits all fit, and with a set of TR7 carbs you can get over 100bhp with no trouble at all. Bits apart from bodywork are easily available, as they are all shared with other Triumphs. It's a nice, well rounded and practical car, capable of cruising at 85 all day on the -cough- autobahn but also really rather good for fun on wet roundabouts.
