Hi there`after owning tvr`s for the last eight years ive decided to fulfil another dream car of mine, ive just purchased a gorgeous 1971 tr6.Ive always wanted one since i was a kid and ive got to be honest its simply superb,id say better than expected. So what im after is an enthusiast in the Dudley,Midlands area who could i guess show me around my car,and give me some expert advice, tips, pointers etc.I know its not a car that will run itself so if there is somebody local i would greatly appreciate it if you could get in touch ,and just help me a little, cheers Paul.

Good luck with the TR6. I went the other way after owning a TR6 for six years I changed it for a TVR V8S as the call of a V8 was too strong. I am sure you will enjoy the TR its a great classic sports car

I started off with the s2 then i had a lovely v8s,to be honest i think the s2 was similar to what the tr6 is in terms of driving experience. The v8s was that little bit more grown up,but both superb in there own right.Ive got to say the tr6 sounds just as nice as both of them,a proper classic straight six howl, very intoxicating.

Think you will find the driving experience of the TR a bit more old fashioned that the TVR S2. However its good fun and there are a lot of upgrades that you can do.
