I`m rebuilding a 1958 Fairthorpe and need to replace the throttle cable and have no idea what was on it as it has a non standard pedal. Does the Spit cable have a ball on the pedal end?........Martin

Spitfire cables have a ball at the end of the cable at the pedal end. This fits in to a slot+socket on the pedal, with a clip over it to stop it jumping out of the socket.

The carb end has a threaded outer.

Thanks for the description, that is what i need at the pedal, my carbs (1 1/4" S.U`s) have a ball on the throttle arm which i assume has some sort of socket fitting and clip that goes over it?........Martin
