Triumph owners in the Manchester area
Discussion
Bit of a long shot but here goes.
A 1965 Triumph Spitfire Mk1 has been locked and parked in the Lancashire village where I live for over three weeks. It's pale blue, in very presentable condition and has twin exhausts possibly hinting at a GT6 engine conversion but I can't tell. It also has wire wheels fitted. Registration is COF ***C.
The car has been reported to the Police who have confirmed it is registered to an owner in Manchester (some 40+ miles away) but the Police "don't have the resources" to check with the owner as to whether or not it is stolen or its whereabouts unknown.
It's a rare car and I would hate to see it deteriorate or suffer damage whilst parked up.
It may well be legitimately parked but it is in a residential road where none of the residents know anything about it.
If anybody knows of the car or owner and would like to re-unite them or shed some light on the circumstances please feel free to get in touch.
