If it's anything like the one used on Spitfires and 2000s it's probably just miss-aligned slightly.
Take the cowlings off and you may be able to see it/the 'wrong' end of the indicator stalk and see what's what. At a guess the clip will have been pushed too far down the column and is now missing the reset arms on the indicator stalk.

I have checked everything and taking the cowlings of.
The clip is in place and everything seems ok.
I have given the steering colum a turn and the cancellerclip goes by the
resetarms of the indicator stalk. When I turn back the cancellerclip hardly touches the resetarms so the indicator stalk stays in place.
Can it be that the resetarms on the indicatorstalk wear and get shorter through the years?
