My master cylinder seized and in the process of freeing it I have managed to misplace the spring that is inside the cylinder and whatever pieces keep it in place. Does anyone have any knowledge of what these parts are or where I could get hold of them with out have to buy a whole new master cylinder?

Your talking about 106156

http://www.canleyclassics.com/uploadedpics/fullsiz...

N/A on the Canley site but seems to be £3.09 from Moss - www.moss-europe.co.uk.

That said is your M/C not scrap? You've been VERY lucky if you've had the cylinder seize, freed off and not had any damage to the cylinder bore. If there is any damage your just going to leak/eat seals and leak.

If you go for a replacement check out the Wilwood cylinders from someone like Rally Designs - http://www.rallydesign.co.uk/catalog/index.php?cPa... Much cheaper and much better made than the Gurling replacements a Triumph specialist will charge you £40 for.

Just what I was after //J17, Many thanks.
The cylinder bore seemed fine, just a couple of taps with a hammer was all that was needed to free it, but on your advice I shall check in greater detail.

It might be fine but it DOES pi55 you off when you open the bonnet to find the m/c has dumped it's load all over the bulkhead (which now needs repainting unless your using silicon fluid).
