This is the car we owned in the mid 70’s. It was purchased for £750 via The Exchange & Mart and sold for a similar sum a few years later once we had started a family and needed a sensible car.
The rear wings had already been replaced with fibreglass ones by a previous owner and the front ones were starting to go as well. The old style log book showed 7! Previous owners.
I remember it as being generally reliable and we did trips to the Lake District and North Devon from London, although it did go through about 3 fuel pumps in a week before the Triumph Dealer found one that worked.

I’m sure the current owner would be delighted to get the pics and historical details.
I have some great pics of my 5 from its original owner which are great to have in a history folder .
Interesting how quickly your car had succumbed to rust at just 6/7 years old ?
No wonder there’s not many left .
