Stag V8 Non. Starter

Was it running previously/how long ago?
Some people have reported issues with stale fuel due to not using their cars for months - but others like me (using BP Ultimate) only had issues with flat batteries.
Take off the air filter box and while someone's crankling the engine over with the throttle peddle pressed down a bit (not foot to the floor, just a bit to make sure the throttle butterflys are off their idle stops) spray some easy start directly into the carbs. This takes fueling out of the equasion so if nothing happens it's 99% a spark issue. If it makes some pops/bangs and tries to run it's 99% a fuel issue.

Good point - originial ones are clipped to bulkhead on the passenger side of the engine bay and cut power to the fuel pump. Basically a ball bearing losely held between 2 contact making the circuit to the electric fuel pump. In a shunt it drops from between the contacts breaking the circuit and you push/pull the button on the top to reset. Of course after 40 years that's a rusty ball bearing between tarnished brass contacts so can also give 'no circuit' with the ball in the correct place.
If you have fuel at the carbs though it would suggest it isn't this.

I have a little car knowledge, my pals Stag will not start we have checked there is a spark at plugs, & fuel supply up to to in line filter prior to entering the carburettors but still refuses start any other things we could check. Any assistance appreciated
JJ,try some "StartYabd" spray (aka "KwikStart") as a test. If, when sprayed onto the air filter, the engine fires, even briefly, then as you have confirmed fuel up to the carburettors, its not getting through them.
Filter? Gummed up carbs? Are the pistons moving freely?
Stromberg carbs have a rubber diaphragm, that may not like E5 fuel, let alone E10. If either is ruptured, then the pistons will not rise and little fuel will get through.
