Black/Dark Headliner in a GT6

Hello all,

I'm interested in replacing the headliner in my GT6 this year. I like the idea of the black/dark one that Rimmers sell, but I don't want to make it too dark in there of course. Has anyone else got it fitted in there's? And if so, would you mind sharing a picture or two?

No idea about a GT6, but I had a Vitesse with a black GRP hard top. Black inside as well.
It was so dark and opressing inside that when I fitted the saloon roof back on, painted white inside, it was like a weight off my mind!

But each to their own. If you want black go for it!

Hi John,

Thanks for your reply. I was a bit worried it might make it dark in there. It works my everyday car but it's more a grey colour and fabric rather than vinyl. Might avoid and keep to something lighter!

Triumph used the black headliner in the Mk2 GT6, but switched back to white as customer pressure reported it was too dark.
I had (painted) black headliner in my Mk1, much better now that its back to white.
