TR7 V8 fuel injection
Discussion
Hi folks,
I am pretty much at the end of the restoration of my TR7 V8, with one major problem: the EFI. I restored a 14CUX kit and installed a Tornado chip from Mark Adams. Took it for a final tune on a dyno and the fuel map is all wrong: too rich down low and too lean at higher revs. I have been trying to get a replacement chip from Mark for about 6 months without any luck and I'm feeling very frustrated about not being able to track the car.
The engine is a warmed-up 4.6L RR. I'm thinking now that I need a new FI system. What is the current thinking about a bolt-on FI for this engine? The car is street legal and I track it so I want something well suited to a "performance sports car".
I look forward to some clever advice.
Regards
Michael

From what I have found out,the M Adams eprom is a best guess if he has not actually tuned your injection system.
