Mk3 GT6 Petrol Caps.??

We're having trouble sourcing a new petrol cap for the mk3 gt6 that we're doing a ground up resto on...As you're probably aware, the originals are poor quality castings, and are not up to a chrome removal process...Apparently, chunks are eaten away.!!

Anybody have any ideas where to source new ones? Everybody seems to be waiting for some new castings

eBay I would guess. Where did you try for the rechroming? I'm sure S&T rechrome mazak (which is what I think it is, or similar). I'm planning to let them fo some TR6 lamp surrounds - same stuff I expect - this winter.
