Oil for my 13/60
Discussion
Hallo all
A while ago I topped up the oil with something from Halfrauds, can't remember which type it was but it was on the spot and I needed it
Anywho, need more oil and I wondered what PH recommends - replace with more of the same, top up with something if there's a better option, flush out and replace?
thanks

You want a 20W50 oil. If you topped-up with Halford's own-brand oil that comes in old-style metal cans you should be fine. If it was a more modern oil it's probably got additives that may be less classic-friendly and will probably be a lower viscosity oil, probably too thin for our old, worn bags of bolts.
Unless you've only just done one it's probably time for an oil change anyway so just drain and replace.
As for what oil, I've switched to Millers classic oils and am happy with them.
For a standard engine - Millers Classic Performance 20W50 ( http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68912-millers-oils-cla...)
For a tuned engine - Millers classic Sport 20W50 Semi-Synthetic ( http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68913-millers-oils-cla...)
