Just started on another Spitfire project and need to replace quite a phew components. I have been on ebay, Moss Europe and Rimmer bros and am currently comparing prices. The question is; "are there and other places were I can get stuff of a quality and now have to pay through the nose?"
I have stupidly decided to keep record of the cost of every nut and bolt so I know exactly what the project has cost me.
And has anyone had a chassis sand-blasted? Where did you go? How much did it cost? And would you go back and use them again?
Thanks

Canley Classics
James Paddock
Rarebits4Classics
Mick Dolphin
Fitchetts
Chic Doig
Sports Car Supplies
Ebay

For cheap stuff next day I tend to use Rimmers or Canley.

If not in a hurry I shop around.

If a bigger purchase where I might need advice I use Chic.

Cheers thanks for that everyone for the advise, need to now go on a spending spree, and it will(might) be on the road at the beginning of the spring as my everyday car for the summer.

Not too shabby John, still on my knees doing the flooring, i'm up in Hartlepool at the min finishing off a BHS I started before christmas.

I've still not finished the MK1 estate I was working on when you left,I seem to have either time or money but never manage to get them both at the same time!!!
