gt6 problem Help!

my gt6 was running today and suddenly developed a leak in the radiator
then the engine stopped about a min later
the car now when the ignition is turned has no electrics ... no dash board lights and not starts or even turns over

i notices a fuse had blown but dont think thats linked

can anybody help

did the coolant squirt over any of the electrics ? tryed cleaning up the terminals on the battery ? sounds a bit odd.

Check the earth connection. I have lost count of the number of time I have gone from "OMG, why the hell is it doing this!" to "F@#king earth connector, should have known"

Agree above but also worth checking that the battery does have some charge. Although unnusual I have twice had a battery die completely and without the usual warnings - last time was on a Vauxhall Carlton. It had stood for a week while I used my motorbike for work, which of course is when you would expect to see issues, but started quite happily first time. However after driving 150 miles up the M1 I stopped in services and when I got out there wasn't even enough juice to activate central locking and faintest of glows from courtesy light. I assumed alternator had died but AA came and checked and confirmed battery (less than a year old) was dead. New battery and it was fine for 3 years till I sold it. You can never really tell!
