This might raise a chuckle.... as well as shortening my life somewhat....

Why A TVR Is Better Than A Woman

• A TVR costs less and is much more reliable
• You don't have to punch anyone who looks at your TVR and says "Man, I'll bet that goes like an express train.'
• A TVR fires up at the press of a button (and the button is clearly marked).
• Refuelling a TVR is less complicated (no restaurants, no complaints about the food or the cost, no flowers, no chocolates etc).
• Someone could steal your TVR but it won't take half your house with it and in any case someone will pay you to get another one.
• You can go as far as you want in a TVR.
• A TVR won't give a toss about you remembering the anniversary of the date you purchased it or of the date it was built.
• A TVR won't complain if you drive another car.
• Having a woman won't attract other women.
• If you are late back from the pub the night before a TVR won't even mention it.
• A TVR only needs servicing every 6 months.
• When your TVR gets old you simply get rid of it and buy a younger one.
• TVRs don't have mothers.
• Both a TVR and a woman make a lot of noise but a TVR sounds better and can be switched off.

One thing I found was that a TVR won't object to some rear end action. It might punish you if you push, too hard, however.

Oopsie. I never thought of it like that. Wait, I specifically stated that a TVR won't object, NOT that a woman would object, like.

Whatever the case, I miss my old Chimaera.

I thought a TVR was like a woman. Get in her as often as possible, fill her with juice and make her scream.

Mind you:

TVRs can be much more difficult to start

They take a lot longer to service

The bits that stick out the side rust

They require four boots each time

They don't have Anne Summers parties and bring their mates

If you take their tops off, all you can do with TVRs is get a bit sunburned

If you wipe the eyes of a woman then can see better. However, the windscreen wipers on a TVR . . .

TVRs don't tap you on the shoulder in bed at night.

One more:

A TVR will attract 6"11 blokes with goatees much more often than a woman would.

Marvelous. I'd take a TVR over my last one any day. Heaven and hell really.

Calm down dear, I think it's what's known as a joke. Besides, exhausts burn.

No thanks. Real women = real headaches. (Unless you are lucky and found one of the rare ones.)

But, as always, the rare ones are much more expensive
