Crap launch, over 2secs, shifted into second and failed then, 129.9 previous best, so yeah loads faster, should be a 135 in there I reckon...

Got home at last, but thats another story.. apparently had only 10miles worth of cover WTF!? i travel the country far and wide, so no use to me.
They only took for the base cover, renewed earlier this year, after full cover last year, and i didnt notice/look, so i made them recover me the free 10 miles then unhook it, then towed it home.
Conversation basically went
Me- "you have made an error"
Them "computer says no"
Repeat infinitively and you get the jist..

But anyway looking at the 1/8th i have previously done 7.002, and my best out of the two today was a 7.5xx.
Track seemed fairly rubbish, compared to times before, lots of spin etc,
Its on again in a couple of weeks, so will try then.

Anyone else fancy it?

Went over to the Shakespeare Raceway today in my 4.5 Cerb,never been before,got 2 runs in before it p****d it down,loads of wheelspin,13.2/112mph,not bad for a novice but your figures are impressive!
Gonna give it another go at the next meet.

Paul, you worry me. I know you have more power than me but you have broken several things in your drive-train and I am still on original drive shafts so I feel I'm waiting to hear the bang of shearing metal.

But, if the planets align and a beam of sunlight illuminates your car and you wear your lucky pants you should be able to run a truly amazing time with that machine of yours. Just like the perfect scenario times the sports car manufacturers claim for their cars. Not easy to do.

Yep, all together and will be going, but on SATURDAY, Weather report looks promising too.
I will be there with an LS engined Escort Cossie, and an LS engined red Mazda RX7.

No, its a 7ltr NA one, Craigs is still in build, the one that is coming is a fairly funky spec, but hes also a Qtr mile virgin!
