Boot changer switches off after half an hour ?

Evening all, My cd boot changer in my chim switches off after half an hour of playing ? I know why would i want music on with that sound track behind me !!!!!!! But sometimes it,s quite nice for a change. If u switch the head unit on again it will play the radio but not the cd. Then leave it for an hour or so and the cd plays again for half an hour and switches off again.Any ideas why would be great, thanks for your time.

Sounds like it's overheating and a thermal cut out's coming in. Check it's got free air round it.
