202mph at Bruntingthorpe Today!

First run was 199.97mph, had to change the rear tyres for my slicks as the motor was at 7100+ rpm, 202 popped up on the data logging...

I've never seen a TVR get anywhere near that at vmax, Blackiepaul might get close with his sag LS if he can keep the little animal in a straight line.

How do you know? 188 in the wet the first time out and lifting before end - it will do 200. The reason Carig mentions keeping it in a straight line as he has seen it go.

IF it will hang on to the revs, if this had not got the Throttle bodies on, it would not have been making enough power at OVER 7000rpm, more gearing would have been needed, the slicks on JUST gave me enough gearing for it.

I'm not sure if it was ever measured officially but basic maths makes it considerably quicker than 200. We'll see.. Either way 202mph is quite brilliant.
