No Dave Mines not that far ahead I think the only similarities are the colour of the rocker covers
I just hope its ready soon I have severe withdrawal symptoms, and I still have to do the brake upgrade and body off chassis restore once its all done

Is it entirely a wise idea to hold the heat protection on with plastic cable ties? Or are they high temperature ones? (I used stainless steel ones on my Chim.)

Hmmm maybe not. The ties are only secondary anyway as the heatshield is stuck on.

Now to figure out a way of mounting the pulsoids and getting the plumbing in neatly







Also going to send the injectors off to be cleaned and tested by the guy on fleabay.

I can personally recommend this guy, as he did my Rangerover injectors you get a report with them to showing before and after flows.

where did you get the heat shield material for the alternator from? struggling to find some for some reason!

They can be quite heavy once built, we made the mistake of building my last engine in the kitchen (yes I'm single) so had to carry it out, did not help both me and my brother both weigh less than 10 stone.

You not going to fix some ARP flywheel bolts.

I am single too and the engine sat on my kitchen table for a while. I quite liked it there.
No ARP flywheel bolts but decent quality allen head bolts have been used now.
